Jo Anderson
Jo was the founder and teacher of Renewing Love. Guided by her love for the Lord she desired above all things to help women know and grow in His love. She was a student, studying diligently the Word and encouraging others to do the same.
Renewing Love was started in 1973 as a result of the burden God placed on her heart for women and their families. In 1970 she had been teaching Bible classes to a number of women who seemed to know the scriptures, but looking at their lives, the fruit wasn't there.
She would talk with the ladies and think, "I know what you're saying, but I don't see it in your life. Why don't you put these things to work?" She began to realize that a lot of people know the right thing to do, but they don't know how to do it.
As she prayed and studied, God gave her a burning desire to provide a means by which women could begin to apply God's principles to their lives in a practical way. As a result of this, in December, 1973, Renewing Love was born. The first Renewing Love Seminar was presented on January 8, 1974.
Jo Anderson graduated from the University of Minnesota. She and her husband, Dr. Gerald F. Anderson, were married in 1956 and have two married sons and six grandchildren.Jo went home to be with the Lord in 1996.
